Trump Willing To Work With Democrats On Healthcare Plan, Paul Ryan Doesn’t Want That
Last week was a big one for the GOP’s healthcare plan, as the bill ended up getting pulled. While Trump seemed to indicate he would be willing to work with Democrats on trying to get a healthcare reform plan, according to CNBC, an interview is set to run this morning on “CBS This Morning” where U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan claims he is against Trump offering to do this.
In the interview set to air this morning, CNBC claims Ryan says, “I don’t want that to happen.”
He also indicated this would be “hardly a conservative thing.”
“I don’t want government running health care,” Ryan added. “The government shouldn’t tell you what you must do with your life, with your healthcare.”
It sounds like Ryan needs to take a lesson from Elementary school called “work nicely with others” if he’s hoping to get any healthcare reform passed anytime soon.
