Vince Neil — Accuses Alleged Victim of Agreeing to Participate in Assault
Nik, check this out — Vince Neil is blasting the woman accusing him of assaulting her outside a Vegas casino. The rock star is claiming she knowingly participated in the incident and was aware of the risks in which he allegedly grabbed her by her hair and pulled her to the ground causing severe injuries! Back in April, Vince and Nic Cage were together in Las Vegas inside the Aria Hotel. A woman – fan of the actor – approached him for an autograph. Vince allegedly went behind the woman, grabbed her by her hair and pulled her to the ground. Nic attempted to calm down his friend but his attempts were fruitless.
He was charged with misdemeanor battery and is facing 6 months in jail.
The woman, Kelly Guerrero, then filed suit earlier this year accusing the Motley Crue star demanding he pay up for her injuries. She explained she was walking with her son into the Aria Hotel when she noticed Nic Cage with Vince and comedian Carrot Top. The woman walked up to Nic and told him she loved his films including “City of Angels” and “Ghost Rider”.
While she was talking to the actor she claimed Vince put her in a headlock for no reason and once she was free he suddenly attacked her by grabbing her hair and pulling her to the pavement. The incident left her with severe injuries including neck pain, low back pain, fractured tailbone and hip injury. Guerrero accused Vince of being intoxicated and under the influence and demanded $150k in damages.
Vince claims that the woman knew about the risk and voluntarily undertook the risk that led to the accident or injuries described in her suit… adding that she agreed to and participated in those action which she claims now to have caused her injury and damage. “Since such participation and consent were given knowingly and voluntarily, Plaintiff’s claims are invalid.” The rock star is demanding the entire lawsuit be thrown out and the woman take nothing from her complaint … and she be ordered to pay his attorney fees.
