Bryan Callen On MLB Racism- “We’re Too Sensitive”
Comedian/Actor Bryan Callen was spotted out in Beverly Hills by the paparazzi who asked him about the MLB racism that’s been reported as of late in Boston.
“I jut think that people overreact,” Callen shared. “I don’t think that it’s really- the threat isn’t racism. The threat is people overuse these words.”
“I just think it’s ridiculous,” he continued. “I think at the end of the day it comes down to can you earn a dignified living? I just think we’re too sensitive. I don’t believe that everybody is that sexist, that racist, I mean I’m a white male speaking, so- what do I really know?”
“I’m just saying man,” he added. “None of my friends- when you’re working and trying to get through your day, I’m not thinking about the other guy being different and I want to keep them down. That doesn’t make any sense to me.”
According to reports about the incidents in Boston, an African-American Orioles player was called racially offensive terms and thrown peanuts at by fans, and a Kenyan singer was also called racially offensive terms the day after.
